AI Investment Dialogues, Founder Milestones, And Infrastructure Powering Growth


DFINITY  announced the conclusion of today’s first panel “From Seed to Singularity,” which explored the future of AI investment and featured the notable question “Are we still interested in investing in human intelligence?” It thanked panelists Sue Xu (Amino Capital), Kumar Dandapani (Cadenza), Jing X. (YZi Labs), and moderator Jason G. (DFINITY), noted attendee Sue Xu’s praise for the event and inspiration from Dominic Williams ∞ ’s Caffeine app demo on the Internet Computer, and reminded that the livestream continues.

Novig has officially opened its long-awaited headquarters, a milestone marking the company’s growth journey. The team traces its roots from a dorm room, then an SF Airbnb during their Y Combinator (YC) tenure, a flex-wall apartment in Lower East Side (LES), a WeWork space in Dumbo, and finally a Soho sublease—each space playing a key role in its development, while the new HQ feels distinctly pivotal. Novig emphasizes that opening the headquarters doesn’t alter its core DNA; instead, it’s a space to deepen and strengthen it. The team remains as ambitious as ever, noting this is just the beginning, and the next chapter of Novig’s story starts now.An AI-focused gathering took place at Stanford Faculty Club, uniting AI founders, tech providers and private equity leaders to discuss data center strategies and PE roll-ups for AI startups. Larry Li (Amino Capital) noted now is ideal for building generative AI apps, with investors linking founders to experts. Dr. Huican Zhu (Amino Capital, Google Image Search inventor) shared Google’s cost-UX insights, advising AI startups on model quality-cost balance and strategic infrastructure. Organizers thanked co-hosts (Atlas Cloud, Stanford AI Club) and speakers, inviting AI infra/GTM practitioners to connect.

Anthro Energy celebrated last week’s grand opening of its new Alameda HQ—a cutting-edge facility housing its headquarters, R&D center, and battery cell/electrolyte production (powered by proprietary Anthro Proteus™ tech).
